FAQs

Q: What is a hostel?
A: The hostel is a budget accommodation with basic amenities and self-service that give you a friendly vibe, meet new travelers, and be located in a convenient travel spot.

Q: How many types of rooms are at ALEXA?
A: We have Dormitory rooms and Private rooms. Dormitory rooms have a shared bathroom outside (separate male and female) and Private rooms have both an inside bathroom and a shared bathroom.

 

Q: Where is ALEXA located and what attractions are nearby?
A: ALEXA Nimman Hostel is located at Nimmanhaemin soi 3, which is the heart of the city and also close to Doi Suthep, One Nimman, Maya Mall, CMU Art Center, etc., as well as many restaurants and cafes. 

Q: Check-in and check-out time? What to do if arrive after 11:00 p.m.?
A: Check-in time is after 2:00 p.m. and Check-out is before 11:00 a.m. Staff service hour is from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. every day and after 11:00 p.m. In case of late check-in, kindly contact us via email or

phone number directly at least one day before arrival.

Q: What if there is an emergency in the hostel after 11:00 p.m.?
A: If there is an emergency situa
tion, you can contact the staff by mobile number provided at the front desk and also the board on each floor.

 

Q: Does ALEXA provide breakfast?
A:  We do not provide breakfast but this area has a variety of restaurants and cafes! So you can be sure that you won't be starving.

 

Q: How to get to ALEXA from CNX Airport, Bus Terminal, and Train station and how long does it take?
A: There are many choices to get here. You can take Red Trucks, Airport Taxi, or GRAB and it takes about 15-20 minutes from CNX Airport, 20-25 minutes from Bus Terminal, and 25-30 minutes from Train station.

 

Q: What is the best way to wander around the city?
A: Walk is a good choice but you can also take Red trucks, book GRAB, or rent a motorbike (you can contact us at the front desk)

Q: How to take a trip outside the city like Mon Jam, Samoeng, Doi Inthanon, and Mae Kampong (If don't want to ride a motorbike or drive a car)?
A: We do provide tours for one-day trips and more ( you can contact us at the front desk for more information) but if you don't want to take a tour, you can follow this :
- Mon Jam, You can take Red trucks or Yellow trucks from the city
- Samoeng, You can take Yellow trucks ( Chiang Mai-Samoeng route) and they will drive on the Mae Rim- Chiang Mai route.
- Doi Inthanon, You can take Yellow trucks at Chang Phueak Bus Terminal and Chiang Mai Gate.
- Mae Kampong, You can take a van at Warorot market. They will drop you off at Mae Kampong Community Learning Center.
