Q : What is a hostel?
A : Hostel is a budget accommodation with basic amenities and self-service that give you a friendly vibing, meet new travelers and located in convenient travel spot.
Q : How many types of room at ALEXA?
A : We have Dormitory rooms and Private rooms. Dormitory rooms have a shared bathroom outside (seperate male and female) and Private rooms have both inside bathroom and share bathroom.
Q : Where is ALEXA located and what attractions are nearby?
A : ALEXA Nimman Hostel is located at Nimmanhaemin soi 3, which is the heart of the city also close to Doi Suthep, One Nimman, Maya mall, CMU Art Center etc., as well as many restaurants and cafes.
Q : Check-in and check-out time ? Are staff be in hostel all the time?
A : Check-in is 2:00 pm and Check-out is before 10:00 am and staff service from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm everyday and after 11:00 pm the door will be closed for safety reasons. The room key card will be required to tap into the door.
Q : What if there is an emergency in the hostel after 11:00 pm?
A : If there is an emergency happens, you can contact the staff by mobile number that provided at the front desk also the board on each floor.
Q : Do ALEXA provide breakfast?
A : We do not provide breakfast but this area has variety of restaurants and cafes! So you can be sure that you won't be starving.
Q : How to get to ALEXA from CNX Airport, Bus Terminal and Train station and how long does it take?
A : There are many choices to get here. You can take Red trucks, Airport Taxi or GRAB and it takes about 15-20 minutes from CNX Airport, 20-25 minutes from Bus Terminal and 25-30 minutes from Train station.
Q : What is the best way to wander around the city?
A : Walk is a good choice but you can also take Red trucks, booked GRAB or rent a motorbike (you can contact at the front desk)
Q : How to take a trip outside the city like Mon Jam, Samoeng, Doi Inthanon and Mae Kampong (If don't want to ride a motorbike or drive a car)?
A : We do provide tour for one day trip and more ( you can contact at the front desk for more information) but if you don't want to take a tour, you can follow this :
- Mon Jam, You can take a Red trucks or Yellow trucks from the city
- Samoeng, You can take Yellow trucks ( Chiang Mai-Samoeng route) and they will drive on Mae Rim- Chiang Mai route.
- Doi Inthanon, You can take Yellow trucks at Chang Phueak Bus Terminal and Chiang Mai Gate.
- Mae Kampong, You can take a van at Warorot market. They will drop you off at Mae Kampong Community Learning Center.
